Amy Van Der Waarde
Passionate about horse and rider biomechanics, Amy combines knowledge, precision and thoughtful coaching to create confident, balanced partnerships.
Amy brings a wealth of knowledge, passion and technical expertise to the C Dale Ranch team. With a Bachelor’s degree in Equine Sports & Husbandry, alongside qualifications in KNHS Instruction and Technical Dressage Training, Amy has a strong understanding of both horse and rider development.

Her teaching has a particular focus on horse and rider biomechanics, helping riders understand how their position, balance and movement directly influence their horse’s way of going. Amy works with riders to develop correct, effective riding while building confidence and a better understanding of the partnership between horse and rider.

Amy is a valued part of C Dale Ranch since January 2026, contributing her knowledge and experience to the continued development of our riders, horses and training programs, while supporting our commitment to providing quality, thoughtful and well-rounded coaching.
Annie Towle
Passionate about teaching, Annie focuses on how rider aids influence the horse, helping riders refine their communication, technique and overall riding ability.
Annie has a genuine passion for teaching and helping riders develop their skills, confidence and understanding in the saddle. Her coaching focuses on how a rider’s aids, position and communication influence the horse, helping riders become more effective and thoughtful in their riding. Annie encourages each rider to understand the why behind what they are doing, creating stronger communication between horse and rider while supporting continued improvement and progression.

Since joining C Dale Ranch in April 2024, Annie has played an important role in the growth of our riding school. Her reliability, enthusiasm and commitment to our riders have helped shape the supportive atmosphere we have today. Over the years, Annie has built wonderful relationships with our riders and families and continues to be a trusted and valued member of the C Dale Ranch team.
Tegan McElhinney
Where confidence grows, and riding is always meant to be fun.
Tegan joined the C Dale Ranch team in March 2026 and brings a fun, energetic and encouraging approach to our weekend horse riding lessons. She loves helping children, teens and adults build confidence in the saddle by gently pushing riders outside their comfort zones, celebrating the little wins and making sure there are plenty of laughs along the way. With less emphasis on highly technical coaching, Tegan is all about creating a positive and enjoyable horse riding experience where riders can relax, challenge themselves and grow in confidence. Her approachable teaching style makes her especially suited to beginners, nervous riders and those wanting to rediscover the fun of horse riding at our Kemps Creek, Western Sydney riding school.

With experience in dressage and Western riding, Cowboy’s calm and confidence-building nature makes him the perfect beginner riding school horse. He helps children and adults learn the foundations of horse riding, develop their skills and build confidence.

With experience showjumping up to 1m and a solid foundation in dressage and flatwork, Alfie is a versatile all-rounder capable of working in a consistent contact, developing self-carriage and more collected work. He has introduced many young riders to jumping, helping them develop rhythm, balance, an independent seat and correct position over fences. For more experienced riders, Alfie provides the opportunity to refine effective aids, transitions, suppleness, straightness and quality of contact, making him a valuable part of our riding program at C Dale Ranch.

With his willing temperament and trainable nature, Clyde is a pleasure to work with and particularly well suited to dressage and flatwork. He offers riders the opportunity to develop consistent contact, self-carriage, engagement and collected work, while refining the effectiveness and accuracy of their aids. His willingness to learn and responsive nature make him a lovely partner for riders looking to progress their dressage skills and overall feel in the saddle.

Diva is a promising young all-rounder with a willing nature and plenty of potential. Currently continuing her education and gaining experience, she is developing the foundations to become a confident and reliable children’s riding pony in the future. With continued training and exposure, we’re excited to watch Diva grow into a versatile member of the C Dale Ranch riding school team.

Perfect Kids Pony
Winston is the perfect children’s pony, with a kind temperament and a definite “more woah than go” nature that makes him ideal for building confidence in young and beginner riders. A Royal National Pony, Winston combines quality and experience with a sensible attitude, helping children develop their balance, independent seat and basic aids while enjoying a safe and positive introduction to horse riding.
Our Facilities
At C Dale Ranch, our facilities are designed to support every stage of a rider’s development. Our spacious riding arena is complemented by a versatile range of professional equestrian training equipment, including showjumping fences, ground poles, barrels, bending poles, cones and mounted games equipment.
From developing balance, accuracy and effective aids to refining jumping technique, pole work and arena skills, our facilities allow our instructors to create varied and purposeful sessions for riders across different ages, abilities and disciplines.
